In a massive recent development, after the Pakistan Cricket Board witheld the NOCs for its players for the Abu Dhabi T10 League, an agreement has apparently been reached.

As per a recent report, the T10 League and the Pakistan Cricket Board have finally agreed on an amount that will be paid by the foreign franchises to the PCB to secure NOCs for the 16 Pakistani players who have been signed for the league.

PCB accepts 200,000 USD deal with Abu Dhabi T10 for NOCs

Initially, the Pakistan Cricket Board asked for roughly USD 10,000 for each player's NOC to play in the Abu Dhabi T10 League. Until the morning of November 5, no agreement or mediation had been reached between the two parties.

However, as per a recent report from Geo News, the T10 League management has agreed to pay the PCB 5.6 crore Pakistani rupees in exchange for the NOCs. The total amount comes to almost 202,429 US dollars, which, if distributed equally, rounds off to almost 12,000 US dollars for each player's NOC for those participating in the league.

The development has now increased the likelihood of Pakistani players participating in the upcoming edition of the cricket league. Reportedly, the players were willing to pay off the fee from their own purse for the NOCs if things went south.

Pakistan players cleared for Abu Dhabi T10 league

Notably, as per sources from Geo News, franchises and players had approached the PCB, requesting the board to issue NOCs to allow selected Pakistani players to participate in the tournament.

Following their requests, the matter was taken up with the authorities, with the PCB considering their appeals sympathetically to reach a mediation level.

The agreement, just two days before the tournament begins on November 7, has now cleared the way for the players as well as the T10 League to initiate the work around the deal.

For the unaware, last month, the PCB also withheld NOCs for Pakistani players selected for the Nepal Premier League, reportedly demanding USD 25,000 per player.
