Virat Kohli registered his second duck in succession this IPL 2026 season, this time falling for a first-baller against Mumbai Indians paceman Deepak Chahar in Raipur. Not long ago, the cricketer got knocked over for a two-ball duck by LSG’s Prince Yadav.

The occasion marked only the second time in Kohli’s storied IPL career that the seasoned pro has been dismissed for two ducks in a row.
Urvil Patel shatters records in IPL 2026 blitz
Urvil Patel shattered a slew of batting records against the LSG in match number 53 of the IPL 2026 season. Batting at number three for the CSK, the 27-year-old blasted 65 runs off just 23 balls with two boundaries and eight huge sixes in Chennai.
The uncapped Indian cricketer reached his half-century off just 13 balls to record the joint fastest half-century in the history of the tournament alongside Yashasvi Jaiswal.
LSG first to get eliminated from playoff race
The LSG franchise, under the leadership of Rishabh Pant, has become the first side of the IPL 2026 season to get eliminated from the playoffs race. The team recently lost to CSK in match 53 of the tournament in Chennai by five wickets.
The outcome marked LSG’s eighth defeat of the season, and they are fittingly languishing at the bottom of the points table with just three wins from 11 matches, and with a dismal NRR of -0.907.
Azan Awais records Test century on debut for Pakistan
Pakistan young opener Azan Awais composed 103 runs off 165 balls with 14 elegant boundaries against Bangladesh on Day 3 of the first Test in Mirpur. Playing the first Test of his career, the 21-year-old became only the 14th Pakistan cricketer to score a century on debut.
The innings also marked his 11th century in first-class cricket, and it stretched Pakistan’s total to 386 in response to Bangladesh’s 413 in the series opener.
Bangladesh Women squad unveiled for T20 World Cup 2026
The BCB has unveiled Bangladesh’s entire squad for the upcoming 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in England. Nigar Sultana will continue to lead the national side, and she will be accompanied by vice-captain and fellow star performer Nahida Akter.
The Bangladesh Women’s team is placed in Group A of the tournament. Their first match will be played against the Netherlands in Birmingham on June 14.
