Gujarat Titans Player Ratings For IPL 2026 [Source: AFP]
The IPL 2026 season officially concluded on May 31 with RCB beating GT in the final to lift their second title in a row. Gujarat Titans couldn’t perform at their absolute best and were outsmarted by Bengaluru in all departments.
Regardless, the Gujarat Titans had a stellar run in the tournament. With 9 wins in 14 games, they finished in second position on the points table. Despite losing Qualifier 1, GT charged up at Rajasthan Royals to win Qualifier 2 and advance to the finals.
Irrespective of how the IPL 2026 final turned out, GT will be proud of how far they came, and on that note, let’s rate each player based on their performance throughout the season.
Gujarat Titans player ratings for IPL 2026
Shubman Gill - 9/10
- Matches - 16, Runs - 732, Average - 45.75, Strike Rate - 163.03
- Captain Shubman Gill led from the front, finishing as the second-highest run-scorer of the IPL 2026 season. Apart from the final, Gill was above par to give a solid platform with the bat. He did a decent job as a captain as well.
Sai Sudharsan - 8/10
- Matches - 17, Runs - 722, Average - 45.12, Strike Rate - 157.99
- Sai Sudharsan formed a lethal pair with Gill and registered another big season. Barring the two ugly hit-wicket dismissals, Sudharsan was at par for the Gujarat Titans.

Jos Buttler - 6.5/10
- Matches - 17, Runs - 526, Average - 37.57, Strike Rate 152.46
- Jos Buttler also had another 500+ runs season in IPL 2026. However, he didn’t take responsibility when the openers failed. His contributions lacked impact, resulting in multiple collapses for GT.
Shahrukh Khan - 1/10
- Matches - 9, Runs - 43, Average - 10.75, Strike Rate - 130.03
- No impact with the bat despite decent chances. Gujarat Titans had to drop him to strengthen their middle order.
Nishant Sindhu - 1/10
- Matches - 8, Runs - 63, Average - 12.60, Strike Rate - 126
- Gujarat Titans trusted Nishant Sindhu in the middle order, but he couldn’t build partnerships and save the team from costly collapses.
Washington Sundar - 6/10
- Matches - 17, Runs - 377, Wickets - 1, Average - 37.70, Strike Rate - 150.19
- Sundar did a good job with the bat, scoring three half-centuries. However, as an all-rounder, he didn’t add any value with the ball.
Rahul Tewatia - 3/10
- Matches - 16, Runs - 190, Average - 27.14, Strike Rate - 142
- Rahul Tewatia also failed to finish games for the Gujarat Titans in crucial, under-pressure situations. He was a big disappointment for GT this year.
Glenn Phillips - 2/10
- Matches - 6, Runs - 67, Average - 16.75, Strike Rate - 124
- Glenn Phillips also got decent chances, but he wasted all opportunities and eventually had to be phased out of the playing XI of the Gujarat Titans.
Jason Holder - 7/10
- Matches - 11, Wickets - 17, Runs - 65, Bowling Average - 17.05
- Jason Holder performed as a specialist bowler with 17 wickets. But again, he lacked as an all-rounder, which reduced GT’s batting strength.
Sai Kishore - 1/10
- Matches - 3, Wickets - 1, Average - 46.00
- Gujarat Titans didn’t trust Sai Kishore enough and allowed him to play only 3 games, where his impact was close to negligible.
Rashid Khan - 7/10
- Matches - 17, Wickets - 21, Average - 24.57, Economy - 9.07
- Rashid Khan performed well with a 21-wicket season. He bowled a good spell in the final as well. Hence, he had a successful year despite coming off injury concerns.
Arshad Khan - 4/10
- Matches - 8, Wickets - 6, Average - 28.66, Economy - 9.92
- Arshad Khan added extra pace to the Gujarat Titans’ bowling lineup. While he was economical, Khan failed to produce wickets.
Mohammed Siraj - 7/10
- Matches - 17, Wickets - 19, Average - 29.57, Economy - 9.06
- Siraj produced 19 wickets, but his economy and average were below par. He was mostly playing as a second fiddle to Kagiso Rabada.
Kagiso Rabada - 9/10
- Matches - 17, Wickets - 29, Average - 21.58, Economy - 9.68
- Kagiso Rabada was the Gujarat Titans’ best bowler of the IPL 2026 season as he won the Purple Cap. While his spell in the final was expensive, he stayed consistent throughout the season to strengthen GT’s bowling lineup.
Prasidh Krishna - 6/10
- Matches - 12, Wickets - 16, Average - 25.43, Economy - 10.43
- Krishna did a decent job as well with a 16-wicket season. However, GT didn’t trust him enough due to a lack of impactful spells.
Ashok Sharma - 4/10
- Matches - 6, Wickets - 6, Average - 38, Economy - 10.85
- Ashok Sharma grabbed headlines for his express pace, where he bowled close to 150 kph. However, due to less impact, he was eventually phased out in the second half of IPL 2026.
