Rohit Sharma may just have played the penultimate innings of his international career for the Indian cricket team. Shortly after his dismissal against England in the second ODI of the series in Cardiff, several reports indicated that the cricketer may take retirement after the impending Lord’s ODI.
The report states that the BCCI has already informed the former Indian captain that he is not in plans for next year’s 2027 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in South Africa.

If true, the upcoming third ODI of the series between India and England, set to be played at Lord’s in London on July 19, might well be the final international outing for the 39-year-old.
