Aman Khan blasts 43-ball 129 in Pondicherry T20 League 2026
Villianur Mohit Kings captain Aman Khan blasted 129 runs off just 43 balls against Mahe Megalo Strikers in match number 16 of the ongoing Pondicherry Premier League 2026 season. Batting at number four, the cricketer launched six boundaries and 15 huge sixes to bring up a 34-ball hundred.

His innings helped him surpass Rajasthan Royals opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi to slap the second fastest century by any Indian player in an Indian T20 league game.
ICC sanctions huge loan for Cricket West Indies
The Jay Shah-led ICC sanctioned a huge loan of USD 12.82 million for Cricket West Indies. The apex body approved the loan in a bid to assist the West Indies board tackle its recent financial struggles. The ICC confirmed the decision during its annual general meeting in Edinburgh.
It is worth noting that the CWI suffered losses of USD 28 million, as per the audited financial statements of the board last year.
ICC implements major changes in World Cup, T20 World Cup formats
The ICC has also implemented several changes in the formats of ICC ODI World Cup and T20 World Cup events. The apex body has introduced a four-stage ODI World Cup ahead of its next chapter in South Africa next year.
Even in T20 World Cups, the tournament will now feature five groups of four teams each, and the top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super 10 stage.
Nurul Hasan replaces Litton Das in Galle Gallants for LPL 2026
The Galle Gallants franchise has reportedly roped in Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batter Nurul Hasan for the upcoming LPL 2026 season. The 32-year-old has been likely included in the team as a replacement for fellow Bangladeshi stumper and senior man Litton Das.
Earlier this week, Litton Das was ruled out of the tournament owing to his injury concern, and he will continue his rehabilitation in Bangladesh for the time being.
Shubman Gill nears number one ranking in ODIs
Shubman Gill struck a match-winning half-century against England in the first ODI of India’s three-match away series. Gill’s innings extended his points tally to 803 rating points on the ICC ODI Men’s batting charts.
In doing so, he inched closer to number one batter in the world, Daryl Mitchell, who is placed at the top with 814 rating points.
