PCB imposes a two-year ban on Islamabad United’s Blessing Muzarabani
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has imposed a two-year ban on Zimbabwe fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani. The sanction was imposed on Muzarabani after he pulled out of the PSL 2026 season in a bid to join the KKR franchise in India for the IPL 2026 season.

It is worth noting that Muzarabani was earlier roped in by the Islamabad United franchise as a replacement for West Indies fast bowler Shamar Joseph. With the ban, the Zimbabwe paceman will only be eligible to play PSL from the year 2029 onwards.
Pat Cummins likely to join SRH before CSK game
Pat Cummins will likely join the SRH franchise on April 17, i.e., a day before his team’s crucial IPL 2026 match against the CSK. As per a report from Cricbuzz, the legendary Australian fast bowler will undergo a fitness test on April 15 in Australia. If he clears the test, the cricketer will receive an NoC from Cricket Australia and will instantly take flight for India.
SRH name Dilshan Madushanka as Brydon Carse’s replacement for IPL 2026
The SRH franchise has roped in Sri Lanka fast bowler Dilshan Madushanka for the remainder of the IPL 2026 season. The speedster was signed up by the ‘Orange Army’ as a replacement for England cricketer Brydon Carse. It is worth noting that Carse has been ruled out of the entire IPL 2026 owing to an injury. Madushanka has previously played for the Mumbai Indians franchise.
Virat Kohli bats with strapped knee to spark injury concerns
Virat Kohli has apparently picked up a niggle, as the legendary Indian batter was spotted training with a protective gear ahead of RCB’s IPL 2026 match against the LSG. The cricketer also watched the entire Mumbai Indians run chase from the dressing room a couple of days ago to indicate signs of discomfort. Earlier in the same match, the RCB opener was called out for his slow knock of 50 from 38 balls even though his side mounted 240 in 20 overs.
Mayank Yadav, Mohsin Khan fully fit, confirms LSG director
LSG fast bowlers Mayank Yadav and Mohsin Khan have regained full fitness, as confirmed by team director Tom Moody. The former Australian cricketer stated the same a day prior to LSG’s all-important IPL 2026 match against defending champions RCB in Bengaluru.
For Mayank, the occasion will mark his return to competitive cricket after nearly a year. Mohsin played LSG’s opening match of the season before getting injured.
