After weeks of toiling in the ground of T20 cricket, The Hundred 2026 Men’s have finally concluded. The winner of the competition, Manchester Super Giants, has stamped their arrival with the maiden title win while battling against Trent Rockets.

Now, as the tournament has finished, multiple players have emerged as the deserving candidates to be crowned the best of the competition.

From top run scorers to top wicket takers, let’s take a look at what a team with the best players of the tournament will look like after the conclusion of The Hundred 2026.

Openers And Top Order: Mitchell Marsh, Tim Seifert, Jos Buttler (c and wk)

The founding pillars of the Men’s Team of the Tournament should undoubtedly be Mitchell Marsh and Tim Seifert. Marsh, from Sunrisers Leeds, scored a breathtaking 416 runs from his nine matches as an opening batter, averaging 46.22.

Tim Seifert, too, boasts a solid strike rate while accumulating 394 runs as an opener. He already has a reputation for destructive and aggressive batting from ball one. Averaging 49.25, Seifert makes the perfect partner for Mitchell Marsh, forming an aggressive opening duo that loves to attack and take full advantage of the powerplay.

At number three, the skipper of the team, Jos Buttler, should come in to bat. Buttler has been one of the most efficient batters at this position in the tournament. He also ranks fifth on the highest run-scorers’ list in this edition of The Hundred, scoring 334 runs at a solid average of 55.66 from his 10 matches.

Despite his batting abilities, Buttler is also an excellent wicketkeeper and has led the Manchester Super Giants to their maiden title, giving him every reason to flaunt his captaincy credentials in the Dream Team.

Middle Order And All-Rounders: Heinrich Klaasen, Dewald Brevis, Sam Curran, Marcus Stoinis

At number four, South Africa star Heinrich Klaasen should take the helm. He is an excellent middle-order batter, and although his average has not been particularly impressive this season, he has the ability to assess game situations and play accordingly.

This season, he has scored 177 runs from his 10 matches for Manchester Super Giants. However, he remains an excellent striker of the ball when he gets going.

Following Klaasen, Dewald Brevis, the Chennai Super Kings blood and a heavy hitter of the ball, should be given the responsibility of accelerating the middle phase. Brevis scored 212 runs this season for London Spirit, averaging 35.33, while maintaining a decent strike rate that highlights his ability to accelerate with the bat.

Hence, despite being eliminated in the group stage, Brevis’ stature as a power-hitter makes him one of the suitable candidates for the 2026 Men’s Team of the Tournament.

Following Brevis at number six, star all-rounder Sam Curran makes a strong case. Curran is a solid player in the middle phase, capable of anchoring innings with the bat, while also being an excellent pace-bowling all-rounder. In The Hundred 2026, Sam Curran scored 218 runs while picking up six wickets from his seven games for MI London.

Marcus Stoinis is another all-rounder who makes a strong case for a place in the lower middle order. Playing for Southern Brave, Stoinis scored 195 runs at a huge strike rate from seven matches, while also picking up 10 significant wickets, including a three-wicket haul in one match. This further underlines his importance as a game-changer with both bat and ball in the Dream Team.

Bowlers: David Willey, Richard Gleeson, Sonny Baker, Adil Rashid

David Willey can be a solid prospect as a pace-bowling all-rounder. The left-arm fast bowler has picked up eight wickets this season while playing for London Spirit and has also scored 127 runs, making his inclusion valuable in both the batting and bowling departments.

Leading the pace department, though, will be Richard Gleeson, the highest wicket-taker of the season with 14 wickets from eight matches at an average of 16.85. Unfortunately, Jofra Archer might not make it to the Dream Team given his subpar performance this season.

He has managed to take only eight wickets from seven matches, with the only exception being his striking performance of 4/9 against London Spirit. Apart from that, most of his bowling performances have been underwhelming.

Hence, Sonny Baker, another right-arm pacer and a promising 23-year-old prospect from England, will make his case for the Dream Team. Sonny picked up 13 wickets from nine matches while playing for Manchester Super Giants, averaging 22.15.

Rounding up the bowling department will be Adil Rashid, who has been the highest wicket-taker among the spinners in The Hundred. Playing for Southern Brave, Rashid picked up 11 wickets from eight matches this season and will be a solid option to partner Mitchell Marsh in the spin department.
