Four Indians – Smriti Mandhana, Deepti Sharma, Jemimah Rodrigues and Richa Ghosh – took part in the Hundred Women 2026, which ended on August 16. Unfortunately, none of them won the title this year, as there were no Indians in the Trent Rockets squad.

However, in 2023, Harmanpreet Kaur was part of the Trent Rockets squad and played 7 matches for them.

Let’s take a deep dive to know how Mandhana, Deepti, Jemimah and Richa, four of the best from India in T20Is, have performed in the recently concluded The Hundred edition.

Jemimah Rodrigues - Southern Brave

After three seasons with Northern Superchargers (now known as Sunrisers Leeds), Southern Brave signed Jemimah Rodrigues ahead of The Hundred Women 2026.

The 25-year-old Indian batter did reasonably well with the bat, including an unbeaten 34-ball 42 against Sunrisers Leeds, which eventually helped her to win the Player of the Match award.

Unfortunately for Jemimah, she was ruled out of The Hundred Women 2026 in the middle of the competition after sustaining a hamstring injury.

Richa Ghosh - Manchester Super Giants

Unlike Jemimah Rodrigues, Richa made herself available for entire The Hundred 2026, for Manchester Super Giants. Prior to joining them, the aggressive Indian wicket-keeper batter was part of Birmingham Phoenix and London Spirit.

Even though Richa made 54 off 34 balls against Southern Brave, which had three sixes and five fours, she had a pretty much below-par campaign overall in the Hundred 2026. She did not even cross 15 runs for once except that knock.

Deepti Sharma - Sunrisers Leeds

Previously used to represent London Spirit, Deepti Sharma joined Kavya Maran’s Sunrisers Leeds in The Hundred Women 2026. However, she could only get four opportunities to shine with the bat.

Nevertheless, Deepti was the best performer in the Hundred by a significant margin. She had 13 wickets in nine matches, the joint-most in the entire competition, alongside Samantha Bates from Trent Rockets.

Besides, let’s not forget the fact that Deepti Sharma was the only one among four Indians to play the Hundred Women 2026 final. Unfortunately, she ended up among runner-ups.

Smriti Mandhana

The biggest name of the list, Smriti Mandhana played alongside Richa for Manchester Super Giants in the Hundred Women 2026. However, she failed to live up to her lofty standards, having only had one 50+ knock in the entire competition, which came against Deepti Sharma-starred Sunrisers Leeds.

Nevertheless, Mandhana finished the campaign with two back-to-back 25+ scores, against Southern Brave and Sunrisers Leeds respectively. The Manchester-based franchise, however, expected her to deliver more to get a place in the next stage.

They finished fourth on the The Hundred Women 2026 points table, behind Trent Rockets, Sunrisers Leeds and Southern Brave, who advanced to the next round.
