The IPL 2026 season turned into a nightmare for the Mumbai Indians. The five-time champions managed to win only four matches out of 14 group-stage games and finished ninth in the points table. 

As a result, the team once again failed to lift the trophy, extending their title drought to six years. Even though there were a few bright moments, the season mostly brought disappointment for the fans.
