The video was during the final of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, where India produced a historic performance. The final was played at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, where India defeated New Zealand by a massive 96-run margin.
With the victory, India successfully defended their title and became the first team in history to retain the T20 World Cup trophy.

MS Dhoni's presence in T20 World Cup 2026
Former captain Dhoni, who famously led India to the inaugural T20 World Cup title in 2007, was present at key matches of the tournament.
Dhoni attended both the semi-final in Mumbai and the final in Ahmedabad, cheering for the team from the VVIP stands.
Before the final began, MS Dhoni also walked onto the field alongside Rohit Sharma, carrying the trophy in a special ceremonial moment that thrilled fans in the stadium.
Gautam Gambhir responds To Dhoni's message after India's win
After India sealed the title, the CSK-star player broke his long silence on social media with a rare Instagram post congratulating the team and especially praising Gautam Gambhir, who is currently India's head coach.
In his message, Dhoni appreciated Gambhir's passion and intensity and even mentioned that the coach's smile suited him well.
Soon after, Gambhir responded to Dhoni’s message with a warm reply in the comments section.
"And what a reason to smile, great seeing u!" Gautam Gambhir wrote.
The exchange between Dhoni and Gambhir delighted fans and helped put to rest many rumours that have circulated over the years about their relationship.
India's latest T20 World Cup victory also helped Gautam Gambhir achieve a rare milestone. He became the first individual to win the tournament both as a player and as a head coach.
MS Dhoni to play in IPL 2026
It is worth noting that Dhoni has also confirmed he will continue playing in the IPL in 2026 at the age of 44. His franchise Chennai Super Kings retained him for ₹4 crore under the league’s uncapped player rule.
Dhoni remains one of the most successful players in IPL history. Across 278 matches for CSK and Rising Pune Supergiant, he has scored 5,439 runs at an average of 38.30 with a strike rate of 137.45.
