Gautam Gambhir returns to the DD fold after playing seven seasons with the Kolkata Knight Riders. The left-hand batsman, who led KKR to the title glory in 2012 and 2014, will once again don the Daredevils jersey in 2018. The Delhi batsman who played a key role in India's 2011, World Cup win has been consistently plying his skills in the domestic circuit for his state-side. A keen student of the game, he is known for his ability to adapt to different situations. As well as he can attack the bowlers, the top-order bat can play the anchor role when required. He has garnered over 4000 runs during the past decade of the Indian Premier League and can prove to be a vital component in DD's fortunes.
