Mohammad Amir and Faheem Ashraf got into an ugly spat on Thursday during Match 34 of PSL 2026 at National Stadium, Karachi. The incident happened when Rawalpindiz and Islamabad United were up against each other in an afternoon game.
Given the fact that Amir has been a very popular face on social media these days due to his interactions with former Pakistan players and experts on various shows, the heated moment between him and Faheem went viral in no time.
Mohammad Amir, Faheem Ashraf Fight In PSL
It all happened once Mohammad Amir bowled a slow delivery to Faheem Ashraf, who was batting on a run-a-ball 11. Faheem tried to play a ramp shot, only to glove it behind. Mohammad Rizwan made no mistake while grabbing the ball, and then the drama unfolded.
Immediately after, Amir gave a send-off to Faheem in a disgusting manner. The Pakistan all-rounder did not like Amir’s fiery words and pointed his bat towards him. After that, the other players had to involve between the two to stop the madness.
This was not the first time Amir was seen aggressively on the field. Previously, he had given a fiery send-off to Steve Smith as well. However, the Faheem versus Amir fight went into a whole new level.

Who Is Faheem Ashraf?
While Amir has been quite a popular figure in the world of cricket, many might not be aware of who Faheem Ashraf is. Well, he was one of the regulars in Pakistan’s T20 World Cup 2026 playing XI.
However, the Men in Green did not utilise him well, neither in batting nor in bowling. Thus far, he has played 17 Tests, 45 ODIs and 85 T20Is for Pakistan.

How Have Amir And Faheem Played In PSL 2026?
Before today’s PSL match, Faheem had played seven games this season and picked up six wickets while conceding at 7.86 runs per over. With the bat, he could not do much, making only 42 runs across three innings.
Amir, on the other hand, claimed 12 wickets in nine matches in PSL 2026, averaging 22.41. Even though he was decent with the ball, RawalPindiZ failed miserably as a team under Mohammad Rizwan’s leadership.
With the PSL Playoffs qualification scenario in focus, Islamabad are currently third on the points table, having won four out of seven attempts, while one game was washed out. RawalPindiZ, meanwhile, languish at the bottom, having lost eight out of their eight matches.
Nevertheless, the PindiZ are now on the cusp of registering their maiden PSL 2026 victory. At the time of writing, they are 78/2 in 9.3 overs, with only 60 runs needed in 63 balls after Islamabad’s paltry score of 137.
