“Test cricket, I’ve said it before, will always be the pinnacle for me. I would like to milk my body for all I can for Test cricket,” he added.
Starc’s post match comments suggest that Test retirement is not something he seems to be going towards. While the left-arm pacer did not give a specific timeline for how long he plans to continue, his desire to keep playing Test cricket is obvious.

Mitchell Starc Shows No Signs Of Slowing Down In Test Cricket
Mitchell Starc’s 10 wickets in Mackay also helped him move past South African great Dale Steyn among Test cricket’s leading wicket-takers. The Australian now has 445 wickets from 107 matches, placing him inside the format’s historic top 10.
However, Starc remains focused on continuing rather than reflecting on his achievements. His latest comments suggest that if his body continues to hold up, he wants to keep playing Test cricket and represent Australia for longer.
