Harmanpreet Kaur creates huge world record with Australia T20I
Harmanpreet Kaur became the most capped player in the history of international cricket. The Indian skipper achieved the feat during India’s second T20I of their three-match series against Australia. Playing her 356th international match for India, Kaur surpassed New Zealand’s Suzie Bates for the all-time record.
Unfortunately for her, Team India failed to defeat Australia on the day as the three-match series is now levelled 1-1. Chasing 164, India managed just 144-9 in 20 overs at the Manuka Oval in Canberra despite Harmanpreet Kaur’s top-scoring act of 36.
Glenn Maxwell joins PSL 2026 for Hyderabad Kingsmen
Glenn Maxwell has joined the Hyderabad Kingsmen franchise for the upcoming PSL 2026 season in Pakistan. Late last year, the legendary Australian all-rounder had pulled his name out of the IPL 2026 auction.
Maxwell’s latest signing with the Kingsmen will also mark his maiden appearance in the PSL. A veteran of over 500 T20 matches, including 129 internationals, the 37-year-old never played prior PSL cricket in his glittering and expansive career. In the Kingsmen camp, he will be joining fellow Australian cricketers like Marnus Labuschagne and fast bowler Riley Meredith.
Zimbabwe stuns Sri Lanka in a historic T20 World Cup 2026 upset
The Zimbabwe cricket team crushed Sri Lanka by six wickets and three balls to spare in match number 38 of the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. The outcome ensured that the ‘Chevrons’ finished the opening round of the competition at the top of Group B points table, and will head into the Super 8 stage as one of only four unbeaten sides of the tournament.
Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza delivered the ‘Player of the Match’ winning performance as his 26-ball 45 helped his side seal a 179-run chase with relative ease.

Karnataka team has officially qualified for the final of the 2025-26 Ranji Trophy season. Under the leadership of Devdutt Padikkal, Karnataka won its first semifinal of the tournament against Uttarakhand in Lucknow on the basis of first innings lead.
Padikkal himself bagged the ‘Player of the Match’ award for scoring a splendid double century in the first innings. The outcome marked Karnataka’s first-ever entry into a Ranji Trophy final in more than a decade. Josh Hazlewood on track for IPL availability, confirms selector
Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood is on track to attain full recovery and make his return to competitive cricket in time for the upcoming IPL 2026 season. Earlier, Australia selector Tony Dodemaide had stated that Hazlewood would have skipped IPL 2026 if the tournament preceded the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
While the legendary speedster was ruled out of the showpiece event owing to his injury, the reverse scheduling has now worked out in favour for defending champions RCB. It is worth noting that the RCB franchise had retained Josh Hazlewood back in late-2025 prior to the IPL 2026 auction.
