India have qualified for the Super 8, and Abhishek remains a dangerous T20 batter capable of turning a match single-handedly on his day. Form is temporary in this format, and redemption could be just one explosive innings away. Then came perhaps the sharper jab was on Steve Smith, who was labeled “Only for airmiles.” Their reference was regarding Steve Smith joining Australia’s squad in Sri Lanka as injury replacement but never got a game before their early elimination in the group stage of the tournament. Iceland Cricket’s humor steals the spotlight again For long-time followers, this was vintage Iceland Cricket in X (formerly twitter) which is clever, cheeky, and impossible to ignore. The account has built a reputation for witty takes and playful trolling that rarely crosses the line into something personal. In a tournament filled with pressure and high stakes, their post added a dose of laughter.
