Harry Brook for England - (Source: AFP)
On Monday, July 6, England Cricket Board (ECB) named England's playing XI for the 3rd T20I vs India. The Harry Brook-led side are leading the series 1-0 after a dominant display in Manchester.
The caravan now moves to Trent Bridge in Nottingham where the Three Lions would look to secure the five-match series. Notably, the 1st match ended with no result and a win in the 3rd T20I would ensure that England will not lose the series.
England Name Unchanged XI For 3rd T20I
As expected, England have named an unchanged playing XI for the 3rd T20I. The same XI from Manchester will take the field at the Trent Bridge.
England's Playing XI for 3rd T20I vs India: Phil Salt, Jos Buttler, Harry Brook (C), Jacob Bethell, Tom Banton, Sam Curran, Will Jacks, Liam Dawson, Jofra Archer, Adil Rashid, Josh Tongue
ECB could've made some changes to the bowling lineup. But since they eventually won the game, they persisted with the winning combination, despite leaking 190 runs in the last match.

England Back Phil Salt And Jos Buttler Amid Dip In Form
One of England's biggest concerns at this moment is Jos Butler and Phil Salt's form. The duo registered ducks in the 2nd T20I, which happened for the first time in England's cricket history.
It was not just the 2nd T20I, but Phil Salt and Jos Buttler have registered single-digit scores in 6 of their last seven T20Is, which is concerning for the Three Lions.
Jos Buttler and Phil Salt have 1229 runs together in 32 innings and are the 17th best opening pair in T20I history. Similarly, England are also backing Josh Tongue, who is not having the best of time.
England Put A Dominating Show In 2nd T20I vs India
Talking about the 2nd T20I, India, batting first, put 190 runs on the board. Sam Curran was the pick of the bowler and took a three-wicket haul. Spinners Will Jacks and Liam Dawson picked two wickets combined, which included the big scalp of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.
In reply, England lost both their openers in the first over. However, Jacob Bethell slammed an unbeaten 76 (46) to seal the win for his side. Harry Brook too took the game away from India with his brilliant quickfire 35, which featured a 27-run over against Arshdeep Singh.
India Looking For Key Changes Ahead Of 3rd T20I
While England have named an unchanged playing XI, India, on the other hand, will opt for several changes. Ravi Bishnoi will be the first victim because the right-arm spinner leaked most runs by an Indian spinner in T20Is.
Other than Ravi Bishnoi, India can also make a few changes in the middle-order, such as bringing in Suryansh Shedge in for either Axar Patel or someone else. The fans will have to wait till the toss to see India's playing XI.
