The Pakistan Super League (PSL), a true Pakistani T20 extravaganza, has consistently delivered moments of sheer batting carnage over the past 10 years. Among its most electrifying spectacles are some thunderous centuries at a breakneck pace, where raw power and fearless stroke-play have converged to redefine the limits of modern T20 batting.
Here, we take a look at some of the batters with fastest centuries to their names in PSL matches.
7. Harry Brook and Kusal Mendis – 48 balls each
Harry Brook hammered down an unbeaten century from just 48 balls against Islamabad United back during match 27 of the PSL 2022 season in Lahore. Batting at number five for the Lahore Qalandars, the attacking Englishman belted 10 boundaries and five sixes in his innings, as his 49-ball 102* lifted his side from 12-3 to a match-winning total of 197-6.

In match 17 of the PSL 2026 season in Karachi, Peshawar Zalmi’s Sri Lanka import Kusal Mendis levelled Brook with a 48-ball hundred of his own, plundering Karachi Kings in his electrifying knock of 109 runs from 52 balls.
6. Hasan Nawaz – 45 balls
Hasan Nawaz notched up a 45-ball century for the Quetta Gladiators against Islamabad United in match 29 of the PSL 2025 season. The hard-hitting right-handed batter smeared four boundaries and nine huge sixes in Rawalpindi, as the Gladiators mounted a record PSL total of 263-3 in 20 overs.
5. Jason Roy and Rilee Rossouw – 44 balls each
Notably, in the innings where Hasan Nawaz cracked a 45-ball hundred, another Quetta Gladiators batter bludgeoned a thunderous century. Rilee Rossouw, batting at number three, made 104 off just 46 balls, and raced to his hundred from just 44 balls with 14 fours and six sixes against the Islamabad United.
Back in PSL 2023, former England opener Jason Roy also belted a 44-ball century, albeit for the Quetta Gladiators against Peshawar Zalmi in Rawalpindi. Chasing 241 runs for a win, Roy racked up 145* runs in all from just 63 deliveries as the Gladiators made lightwork of Zalmi’s record total.
4. Rilee Rossouw – 43 balls
Rilee Rossouw also hammered a 43-ball century back during match 12 of the PSL 2020 season. Batting at number five for the Multan Sultans, his six-laden knock helped his side to mount 199-5 from 20 overs after slipping to 48-3 at one stage in Multan against the Quetta Gladiators. He also won the ‘Player of the Match’ award for his match-winning effort.
3. James Vince – 42 balls
England’s T20 veteran James Vince flayed Multan Sultans bowlers with a scorching 43-ball 101 in match three of the PSL 2025 season. Chasing 235 against the Sultans, the Karachi Kings batter raced to his hundred from just 42 balls, and rained down 14 boundaries and four huge sixes in a successful chase for his side at the National Stadium in Karachi.
2. Rilee Rossouw – 41 balls
Rilee Rossouw holds a unique distinction of unleashing three PSL centuries in less than 45 balls. The innings that places him at number two among the fastest centurions in the history of the league is his 41-ball ton against the Peshawar Zalmi in match 27 of the PSL 2023 season.
The cricketer scored 121 runs in all from just 51 balls with 12 boundaries and eight huge sixes in his match-winning knock.
1. Usman Khan – 36 balls
Opening the innings for Multan Sultans, hard-hitting Usman Khan minted 120 runs from just 43 balls with 12 boundaries and nine huge sixes against the Quetta Gladiators in Rawalpindi in match 28 of the PSL 2023 season. The cricketer raced to his century from just 36 deliveries to hold the all-time fastest century record in PSL history by a landslide.
