The Quetta Gladiators are set to return to PSL 2026 action after a four-day break as they face the Rawalpindiz in Match 18 of the season at the National Stadium, Karachi, on April 10, 7:30 PM (IST).
So far, they have played four matches, but only managed a single win and sit 6th on the points table with two points to their name. Their opponent, Rawalpindiz, has also started their PSL journey on a forgettable note, losing all four of their matches and sitting at the bottom of the table.
Hasan Nawaz (158) for the Gladiators and Sam Billings (139) for the Rawalpindiz are the leading run-getters after four matches each. Leggie, Abrar Ahmed (6) and the experienced Mohammad Amir (5) are the best bowlers for the teams, respectively.
As the two sides collide in search of some form in PSL 2026, we explore Quetta Gladiators' predicted XI for the night.

Top-order: Khawaja Nafay (wk), Shamyl Hussain, Saud Shakeel (c)
In search of some form, Khawaja Nafay, with national team experience, will open the batting with Shamyl Hussain. Despite his ability to score at high strike rates, Nafay has only scored 39 runs in the competition so far. On the other end, Shamyl Hussain has scored 129 runs in 4 innings at a strike rate of 153.57 with two fifties.
Saud Shakeel, with 135 runs, including a fifty, will be slated at number 3 as he will look to lead the team from the front and get a win under their belt.

Middle-order and All-rounders: Hasan Nawaz, Rilee Rossouw, Bevon Jacobs, Tom Curran
The Quetta Gladiators' highest run-scorer, Hasan Nawaz, with 158 runs in 4 innings of the competition so far, will bat at 4. He has scored two fifties in the competition so far.
The overseas duo of South Africa's Rilee Rossouw and Bevon Jacobs will be given the onus as the finishers at 5 and 6. While the Proteas batter hasn't fired in the tournament so far, New Zealand's Bevon Jacobs scored an unbeaten 49 off 31 in their last fixture with four fours and three sixes.
All-rounder Tom Curran joins the batting lineup at number 7 with an exemplary T20 record as the finisher. He has scored over 2500 runs in 173 innings at a strike rate close to 146. In PSL 2026, he has scored 61 runs at 138.63. He will also be one of the pacers handling the middle and death overs for them.
Bowlers: Alzarri Joseph, Abrar Ahmed, Usman Tariq, Khan Zaib
The leader of the Quetta Gladiators pace attack will be Alzarri Joseph, who came in as a replacement player in PSL 2026 and picked 4 wickets in 4 innings at a slightly high economy rate of 9.55 runs per over.
Replacing the injured Ahmed Daniyal after the bowler was asked to rest following 5 wickets in 3 innings will be the 23-year-old pacer Khan Zaib, who is a bit of an unknown entity in the tournament. The right-arm quick has 32 scalps in 6 FC matches, but is yet to make his PSL debut.
The x-factors of this bowling attack will be Usman Tariq, who caught a lot of attention during the recent ICC Men's T20 World Cup for his action. He has been miserly with an economy of only 7.18 runs per over in the four innings for his two wickets so far.
The second spinner of the attack will be the leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed, who has picked 6 wickets, only two behind the leading wicket-taker. He has conceded 8.31 runs per over in PSL 2026 ahead of this fixture.
