The brand-new season of the MLC 2026 season is set to kick off, with the Texas Super Kings taking on the Seattle Orcas in the tournament opener at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas.
As always, the MLC 2026 is expected to be an entertaining tournament with stars from around the world featuring together. For India, it’s a unique moment as former cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin will be making his MLC debut for the San Francisco Unicorns.
Apart from Ashwin, a lot of international stars will participate in this edition, some of whom also unleashed their magic in the IPL 2026 season.
On that note, here are a few IPL 2026 performers who can set the MLC 2026 stage on fire.
Sunil Narine
Veteran West Indies spinner Sunil Narine will be playing for Los Angeles Knight Riders in MLC 2026, a franchise owned by the team he plays for in the IPL as well, which is KKR. Narine is in red-hot form, as he picked up 15 wickets in IPL 2026 in 13 games.
He can not only bowl quality carrom balls but also bat in the lower order to score crucial runs. That dual skill makes him a player to watch out for in MLC.

Ryan Rickelton
South African batter Ryan Rickelton had a successful IPL 2026 season with Mumbai Indians, where he scored 448 runs at a strike rate of 186, including a century and 2 fifties.
While MI didn’t make it to the playoffs, Rickelton can help MI New York defend their title in MLC 2026. Rickelton will be paired up with his fellow MI teammates like Quinton de Kock, Trent Boult and Kieron Pollard. Hence, the familiarity will help him retain his red-hot form.
Allah Ghazanfar
In his debut IPL season for MI, Afghanistan spinner Allah Ghazanfar picked up 15 wickets at an average of 25.93. Now, it’s his turn to serve Mumbai Indians again for the MI New York franchise in MLC 2026.
Ghazanfar is a mysterious spinner who rattles the opposition with his googlies and other variations. When consistent, he can definitely set the MLC 2026 stage on fire.
Finn Allen
Opening batter from New Zealand, Finn Allen is set to play for San Francisco Unicorns in MLC 2026. A few weeks earlier, he was playing in the IPL 2026 for KKR, where he scored 349 runs in 11 games, including a century and a fifty.
While he wasn't able to get big scores, Allen did set the platform with quick contributions at the top, especially in the powerplay. Hence, with such intent, he can take the MLC by storm.
Nandre Burger
South African pacer Nandre Burger played for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2026 season, where he picked up 14 wickets in 13 games. His spells helped RR qualify for the playoffs before they crashed out.
Regardless, in MLC 2026, Burger will offer his services to Texas Super Kings. With conditions suitable, Burger is expected to leave a lasting impact in the upcoming edition of MLC.
Akeal Hosein
West Indies spinner Akeal Hosein, who plays for Texas Super Kings in MLC, got an opportunity to play the IPL 2026 for CSK, where he left a mark by picking up 8 wickets in 7 games.
His devastating spell of 4/17 came against the Mumbai Indians, where Chennai dominated the rivalry. Now with Texas, the spinner can win over the MLC and continue his red-hot form.
