The Rajasthan Royals’ memorable IPL 2026 campaign came to an end on Friday night in Mullanpur, courtesy of a match-winning century from Shubhman Gill, who took the Gujarat Titans to their third IPL final.

RR’s season saw several ups and downs, where they ran away with some matches, but needed a final-day win over the Mumbai Indians to qualify for the playoffs. The star boy, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, was the most important player for them with the bat, while Jofra Archer looked in his element on the bowling front.

As mentioned by captain Riyan Parag, the young team wasn’t really supposed to reach this deep into the competition, given that they had lost their captain in a trade to the Chennai Super Kings, and they had a really young unit.

As they finish third in the season, we take a look at the player ratings for each player.

Rajasthan Royals player ratings for IPL 2026

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi- 10/10

  • Runs- 776; Avg- 48.5; SR- 237.30
  • Vaibhav Sooryavanshi had a task of proving the doubters wrong this season after a promising maiden campaign. He ended up having one of the finest IPL seasons for a batter in the history of IPL with a century and three nineties to his name. He broke Chris Gayle’s record of most sixes in a season by hitting an unprecedented 72 sixes.

Yashasvi Jaiswal- 6/10

  • Runs- 427; Avg- 30.50; SR- 152.50
  • Yashasvi Jaiswal had a season which is usually decent for a player, if you look at the numbers. However, Jaiswal has set high standards for himself over the years, and he looked out of sorts in the knockouts. Additionally, all his contemporaries did far better than him. He won one of the two matches as the captain as well.

Dhruv Jurel- 8/10

  • Runs- 515; Avg- 36.78; SR- 154.65
  • Dhruv Jurel's approach looked a bit conservative on several occasions in the season, but he remained consistent, amid Yashasvi Jaiswal's form and complemented Sooryavanshi well. He was their second-highest run-getter with 6 fifties.

Riyan Parag- 6/10

  • Runs- 309; Avg-23.76; SR- 157.65
  • Riyan Parag was given the responsibility to lead the team full-time this season after Sanju Samson left the team. However, he failed to find consistency apart from two fifties, where he got close to 50 per cent of his season's runs. As a captain, he had his moments but fell short on others.

Ravindra Jadeja- 7.5/10

  • Runs- 266; Wickets- 10; Batting Avg- 66.50; Batting SR- 135.02; Economy Rate- 8.39; Bowling SR- 19.80
  • Ravindra Jadeja had one of his better seasons after making a return to the Rajasthan Royals and bowled economically, alongside crucial runs to avert collapses.

Donovan Ferreira- 9/10

  • Runs- 317; Avg- 35.22; SR- 179.09
  • Donovan Ferreira came into the season with a great T20 form in recent months and lived up to his reputation as a finisher. For someone who batted at the death and had less time to create impact, he did his job well.

Shimron Hetmyer- 3/10

  • Runs- 81; Avg-13; SR- 113.04
  • Shimron Hetmyer had a great T20 World Cup earlier in the year in India at number 3 for the West Indies, but did not even remotely replicate it in the IPL 2026. He had close to no impact this season.

Shubham Dubey- 4/10

  • Runs- 81; Avg- 20.25; SR- 139.65
  • Shubham Dubey helped RR win one match alongside Ferreira, but did not find consistency after the innings and only scored 50 in the other 5 matches.

Dasun Shanaka- 3/10

  • Runs- 63; Wickets- 1; Batting Avg- 12.60; Economy Rate- 10; Batting SR- 136.95; Bowling SR- 36
  • Dasun Shanaka had his chances to impact matches with the bat, but was only able to play one impactful knock of 29 runs, while only picking a solitary wicket in 6 overs bowled. He was also underutilised by the team.

Jofra Archer- 9/10

  • Wickets- 25; Economy Rate- 9.31; Bowling SR- 14.40; Runs- 64; Batting SR- 136.95
  • Jofra Archer was their lone warrior with the ball for a large part of their season, where they depended on him to give early breakthroughs without too much support from the other end. He did the job well with the ball and also added crucial runs down the order.

Brijesh Sharma- 7.5/10

  • Wickets- 14; Economy Rate- 9.89; Bowling SR- 19.50
  • Brijesh Sharma was a positive inclusion in the setup this year as an old ball bowler. He did decently, bowling after the powerplay but his success also depended on how Archer started with the ball.

Nandre Burger- 6/10

  • Wickets- 14; Economy Rate- 10.11; Bowling SR- 18.6
  • Nandre Burger started the tournament well, but as it progressed, he got expensive and less effective, adding burden on Jofra Archer in the powerplay.

Ravi Bishnoi- 6/10

  • Wickets- 11; Economy Rate- 9.88; Bowling SR- 14.1
  • Ravi Bishnoi did decently after his move from LSG to RR, while also briefly holding the purple cap. However, upon getting injured for a bit, he was replaced by Yash Raj Punja and did ot manage to make a return, proving he wasn't a sure-shot starter.

Yash Raj Punja- 7/10

  • Wickets- 9; Economy Rate- 9.30; Bowling SR- 20
  • Yash Raj Punja looked impressive in the early opportunities that he got and showed good control for a leg-spinner. The line and length discipline helped him in being relatively economical, and he was easily able to replace the senior-pro Bishnoi.

Tushar Deshpande- 4/10

  • Wickets- 4; Economy Rate- 11.95; Bowling SR- 34.50
  • Tushar Deshpande heroically defended 11 runs in the final over against GT in a match, but apart from that, he conceded at almost 12 runs per over, which is far from decent.

Sushant Mishra- 5/10

  • Wickets- 2; Economy Rate- 10.57; Bowling SR- 19
  • Sushant Mishra did not have a lot of time to make any substantial impact in the season, but was thrown at the deep end in the business end of the season. He fared well for 2/21 in one match, while conceding 0/46 in the other.

Adam Milne- 1/10

  • Wickets- 0; Economy Rate- 12.30
  • Despite Jofra Archer carrying the bowling unit, RR prevented Adam Milne from getting any chance to help the Englishman out. Milne only played one match and bowled 0/41 in the loss.

Lhuan-dre Pretorius- 1/10

  • Runs- 7; Avg- 3.5; SR- 87.50
  • Lhuan-dre Pretorius only played two matches, out of position on 4, when Riyan Parag was out injured. However, he could only score 7 runs in two innings.

Ravi Singh- 1/10

  • Runs- 4; Avg- 4; SR- 200
  • The exciting domestic talent, Ravi Singh, only got to bat once in the season against DC on debut and scored a boundary off the first ball. On the second ball, he became Mitchell Starc's third wicket of the over as DC restricted RR to 193.
