The second T20I between England Women and India Women is set to take place at the County Ground, Bristol, on Saturday, May 30 at 7 PM (IST).

Ahead of the upcoming ICC Women's T20 World Cup, this is the second of the three-match T20I series between the teams. Both sides are currently looking to try to find their best combinations for the tournament beginning in a couple of weeks and end their preparations on a high note.

The first match of the series saw Smriti Mandhana leading the Indian Women, with Harmanpreet Kaur resting as they were put in to bat first. Despite a double-wicket first over, India bounced back with a brilliant 126-run stand between the returning Yastika Bhatia and Jemimah Rodrigues.

Playing her first match in 8 months, Bhatia was on 40* off 17 at the end of the powerplay and finished with 54(40), while Jemimah Rodrigues went from 19* (15) to 69 (40) to take India to 188/7. Lauren Bell picked 3/34 (4), while Issy Wong, Tilly Corteen-Coleman and Charlie Dean picked one each to restrict India in the middle overs.

England's innings started well with Sophia Dunkley's 16 off 10, but India picked wickets at regular intervals, making it a difficult chase. 

Wicketkeeper Amy Jones scored 67(48), but they only managed 150/8 in 20 overs. Debutant Nandani Sharma picked a brilliant 3/34 (4), missing her hat-trick in India's 38-run win.

There is a negligible possibility of rain forecasted at 14%, but the cloud cover of 76% could play a part in the match, especially assisting the new ball bowlers like Kranti Gaud and Lauren Bell.

Overall, it will be a pleasant experience for the match-going fans with no interruptions predicted throughout the course of the game.

This is the third consecutive match in Bristol, where India has been involved since 2023, making it a venue that the visitors are well aware of.
