The dramatic incident unfolded when a batter smashed a full-toss delivery high over cow corner, seemingly destined for a six.
However, a fan positioned beyond the rope sprinted into action, launching himself into a spectacular dive to complete a clean catch.
The excitement didn’t stop there. After holding onto the ball, the fan quickly squeezed through a nearby fence to avoid crashing into the boundary barrier, a quick-thinking escape that had commentators calling him 'Spiderman' for his agility.
Clips of the stunning effort quickly spread across social media platforms, with fans praising the athleticism and humorously suggesting that the mystery spectator might just have a future in professional fielding.
Interestingly, the catch earned the spectator the ‘Fan Catch of the Match’ award along with a prize of 20,000 Pakistani Rupees.

What is Tapeball?
Tape ball cricket is a popular street-cricket format mainly played in Pakistan, where a tennis ball is wrapped tightly with electrical tape, which changes how the ball behaves.
The tape makes the ball heavier and faster, allows it to swing in the air and reduces bounce compared to a normal tennis ball.
Several famous cricketers, including Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis, have spoken about how tape ball cricket helped them learn reverse swing and yorkers early in their careers.
Pakistan out of T20 World Cup 2026 after poor show
Meanwhile, in international cricket, Pakistan faced humiliation as they got eliminated from the Super 8 stage of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026.
As punishment, PCB sought monetary fines from all players individually for their poor performance throughout the tournament.
Not only that, but non-performing players like Babar Azam, Naseem Shah and Saim Ayub have now been dropped from the ODI series against Bangladesh.
As many as six uncapped players have received their maiden call-up as Pakistan appears to be aiming for a complete reset in the white-ball formats.
While Babar Azam was shown the exit door, Mohammad Rizwan and Haris Rauf found their way in. The ODI squad will be led by Shaheen Afridi, who ironically had an underwhelming campaign in the T20 World Cup as well.
That being said, the three-game ODI series between Pakistan and Bangladesh will begin on March 11 in Dhaka.
