In the ongoing IPL 2026 match between Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, KKR star batter Angkrish Raghuvanshi got out in the most bizarre manner. The cash-studded league has seen all sorts of dismissals, but Raghuvanshi’s wicket has to be one of the bizarre ones.
Notably, Raghuvanshi got cleaned up by Axar Patel in the 4th over of the game, and his dismissal quickly went viral on social media. The fans, too were shocked to see the wicket as they haven’t seen anything like that before.
Angkrish Raghuvanshi Loses Wicket In Bizarre Manner
On the 4th ball of the 4th over, Axar Patel bowled a slower delivery, which the KKR batter looked to sweep. However, the youngster was deceived in the air. Eventually, the ball hit Raghuvanshi on his hand, which then hit him on his shoulder, and eventually the ball hit the stumps.
After the ball hit Raghuvanshi, it went high in the air, comfortably enough for KL Rahul to attempt a catch. However, the Delhi Capitals keeper stayed still, and eventually the ball rolled onto the stumps.

Angkrish Raghuvanshi Having Wierd Dismissals In IPL 2026
Angkrish Raghuvanshi is having a wierd IPL season. The right-handed batter got off to a great start and their fell off-track. The 21-year-old has scored 269 runs in 10 innings, averaging 29.89.
Notably, it is not the first time in this tournament that Angkrish Raghuvanshi has got out in this manner. During KKR vs LSG match, Raghuvanshi became the first player in this season to be given out for obstructing the field.
For the unversed, the right-handed batter was furious after umpires found him guilty of purposly changing his route to complete a single. It led to a major controversy as the entire KKR squad revolted against the decision and it became a talking point for a lot of days.

Axar Patel Having A Disastrous IPL Season
Besides the wicket, Axar Patel is having a disastrous IPL season. The DC captain has only scored 44 runs in 8 innings this season. These are some shambolic numbers and the left-arm spinner played a very slow knock today.
Axar Patel scored 11 (22) with a strike-rate of just 50. It is the second slowest knock by a batter for Delhi Capitals in IPL history. Notably, even with the ball, Patel has just took 10 wickets in 11 innings.
Courtesy of Axar Patel's knock, Delhi Capitals suffered one of the their heavy defeats in IPL history. Talking about the match, Kolkata Knight Riders chased down the total in just 14.2 overs. Now, they are truely alive in the tournament and can reach the playoffs.
