Raghuvanshi is an Indian domestic cricketer who plays for Mumbai. He is a right-handed batter and can also bowl left-arm orthodox spin.

Angkrish Raghuvanshi Biography
Hailing from Delhi, Angkrish Raghuvanshi was born into a family with a rich sporting lineage. His father was a tennis player, while his mother represented India in basketball. His brother plays tennis.
He started his cricketing journey under the coaching of Mansoor Ali Khan in Gurgaon. He went to Mumbai to train with Abhishek Nayar on the advice of his uncle Sahil Kukreja, who is a former Mumbai opener.
After spending time with Nayar, the Delhi-born shifted to Mumbai because he felt there was more scope for growth in the City of Dreams.
Angkrish Raghuvanshi Domestic Career
Rising through the ranks in age-group cricket, Angkrish Raghuvanshi won the Vijay Merchant Trophy with the Mumbai U-16 side in 2019. He smashed 214 runs in the U-19 Vinoo Mankad Trophy 2021. The opener scored 141 runs in five games for India E in the 2021 Challenger Trophy.
Raghuvanshi represented India A U-19 in the tri-series versus Bangladesh U-19 and India B U-19. He accumulated 132 runs in three matches, with the highest score of 88.
After winning the U-19 Asia Cup 2021-22 and scoring an unbeaten 56 in the final against Sri Lanka U-19, he became India's best batter at the World Cup 2022. The opener smashed 268 runs in the tournament, including a 144-run knock against Uganda U-19.
He made his domestic debut in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2023 for Mumbai, receiving the cap from Ajinkya Rahane. In his maiden List-A outing in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2023, he smashed 57 runs versus Kerala.
The 2025-26 season proved his mettle; he struck a career-best 92 in the Ranji Trophy and a blistering 92 off 88 balls in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Known for his fearless “high-intent” style, he famously scored an unbeaten 68 just days after a serious head injury. Averaging 38.20 in First-Class cricket, he remains Mumbai’s premier young, explosive opener.
Angkrish Raghuvanshi IPL Career
The youngster was handed an IPL contract of INR 20 lakh by the Kolkata Knight Riders in the auction for the 2024 season. He quickly established himself with a maiden fifty (54 off 27) against the Delhi Capitals. Known for his aggressive style, he scored 463 runs in 22 matches across the 2024-2025 seasons.
Angkrish Raghuvanshi was retained by KKR for the 2025 IPL season for INR 3 crore. He was further retained for the 2026 season.
