In the ongoing IPL 2026 match between Chennai Super Kings and Lucknow Super Giants, Dewald Brevis hogged the headlines for his brilliant fielding effort. The CSK star batter produced a brilliant run-out from 30 metres out.
Notably, it was a big moment in the game as Aiden Markram got out and returned to the pavilion, putting the Rishabh Pant-led side in trouble. It was a first-such instance in this season. There have been several run-outs but not from such a distance, which Brevis produced against LSG.
Dewald Brevis Produce A Bullet Run-Out vs LSG

Brevis' efforts on the field has reminded fans of Ravindra Jadeja. Notably, the southpaw left the franchise ahead of IPL 2026 and headed to Rajasthan Royals. The former CSK star took fielding standards to new heights during his time with CSK in his peak years.
