Nitish Kumar Reddy is set to make his return to the SRH playing XI for their upcoming IPL 2026 match against the Punjab Kings in Hyderabad on May 6. Head coach Daniel Vettori confirmed the same, after the cricketer was forced to miss his team’s previous match against the KKR a couple of days ago.

At the time, Nitish fell ill prior to the game, but he is “feeling a lot better now”, as stated by the head coach.

Usman Tariq joins Warwickshire Bears for Vitality Blast 2026
Warwickshire Bears have roped in Pakistan spinner Usman Tariq for the upcoming 2026 Vitality Blast T20 season in England. Tariq recently played the PSL 2026 season in Pakistan for the Quetta Gladiators franchise, picking up nine wickets in the tournament at an average of 33.55.
Tariq also created a wave of headlines during the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, particularly for his controversial bowling action.
Scotland name squad for Cricket World Cup League 2 series in Nepal
Cricket Scotland has named a strong 15-player squad for their upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 tour of Nepal. Richie Berrington will continue to lead the side, and he will be accompanied by fellow star performers like George Munsey, Michael Leask and Mark Watt.
The series will be played between May 12 and May 22, with the United States serving as the third team of the ODI tri-series.
Sanju Samson keeps CSK alive with brisk 87* in IPL 2026
Sanju Samson smeared 87* runs from 52 balls with seven boundaries and six huge sixes against the Delhi Capitals in match 48 of the IPL 2026 season in Delhi. His innings stormed the CSK franchise to a comprehensive win over the hosts, chasing down their 156-run target with eight wickets and 15 balls to spare.
The outcome also marked CSK’s fifth win of the season, as they continue to remain in contention for the playoffs race.
