Abhishek Sharma shatters records vs Delhi Capitals
SRH opener Abhishek Sharma hammered 135* off just 68 balls against Delhi Capitals in match 31 of the IPL 2026 season. The innings marked the sixth fastest century by any SRH batter in IPL history, as he reached the landmark figure in 47 balls.

The blistering left-hander also notched up his second IPL century, and his ninth overall in T20 cricket to become the joint-fourth highest century-maker in the format.
Mustafizur Rahman out of Bangladesh squad for NZ T20Is
The BCB has named a 15-member Bangladesh squad for the first two T20Is of the upcoming three-match home series against New Zealand. Senior fast bowlers Mustafizur Rahman, Nahid Rana and Taskin Ahmed were all rested from the squad, as the board chose to go with a new-look pace attack comprising of the likes of Abdul Gaffar Saqlain and Ripon Mondal.
The T20I series will be played between April 27 and May 2 in Chittagong and Dhaka.
Will Jacks joins Mumbai Indians squad in IPL 2026
England all-rounder Will Jacks has finally linked up with the Mumbai Indians squad in Mumbai in the ongoing IPL 2026 season. He could likely be included in the Mumbai Indians playing XI for their upcoming all-important match against the CSK at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on April 23.
It is worth noting that prior to the launch of the tournament, Jacks sought some time off the field before joining the franchise.
Shaheen Afridi becomes leading PSL wicket-taker
Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Afridi picked up match-winning figures of 1-35 against the Quetta Gladiators in match number 30 of the PSL 2026 season. Through the course of his spell, the legendary speedster also levelled up with Hasan Ali to become the leading wicket-taker in the history of the PSL.
However, Shaheen holds a better bowling average of 19.72, having picked up his 136 wickets in just 91 innings.
MS Dhoni return teased by CSK
CSK has inadvertently dropped a massive update regarding the recovery of MS Dhoni amid the ongoing IPL 2026 season. It is worth noting that the legendary wicketkeeper-batter was ruled out of CSK squad for a couple of weeks prior to the launch of the tournament owing to a calf strain.
However, Dhoni has since missed three weeks’ worth of cricket. Prior to CSK’s all-important clash against Mumbai Indians in Mumbai, the cricketer was spotted training with his teammates as he looked in good shape.
