Fresh Video Of RCB DJ Mocking Rishabh Pant's Injury Surfaces [Source: AFP, AP]
Social media is buzzing after CSK filed a complaint against RCB for stereotyping South Indian identity with a viral song. Soon after this, another video came to light where a Bengaluru DJ was accused of mocking Rishabh Pant.
For context, CSK accused that during their innings, the Chinnaswamy Stadium DJ played a viral meme-style song, “dosa, idli, sambar, chutney", to mock the South Indian community.
All about CSK’s complaint
Because of that, CSK formally complained to the BCCI. According to CEO Kasi Viswanathan, the issue wasn’t just the song. There were also alleged remarks by the stadium DJ targeting CSK players.
That crosses an important line. DJs are expected to hype the home crowd but not take direct digs at opposition players, especially in a way that could be seen as disrespectful or personal.
That being said, the BCCI is yet to react to this complaint. RCB and CSK have shared a heated rivalry in the past. Hence, these smaller things are often blown out of proportion on social media.

RCB caught mocking Rishabh Pant?
Meanwhile, after the CSK complaint came to light, another video of RCB DJ mocking Rishabh Pant has surfaced on social media. According to the viral post, RCB’s DJ at the Chinnaswamy Stadium used the popular ‘Fahhh’ sound to mock Pant’s injury.
During the LSG vs RCB game, Pant got hit on the left elbow and had to exit the field due to severe pain. While he returned to the field later in the inning, Pant couldn’t help LSG win.
However, the video of the DJ has gone viral, and now RCB are being accused by not one but two franchises. So far, the Royal Challengers have yet to react to these accusations. It will be interesting to see how the BCCI reacts to this banter.
RCB beat LSG in a one-sided contest
Coming back to the game, RCB trashed LSG to win the 23rd match of the IPL 2026 season by 5 wickets. They chased down 147 runs in just 15.1 overs at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Lucknow’s innings never really took off despite a steady 40 from Mitchell Marsh and a fighting 38 by Ayush Badoni. Regular wickets kept disrupting momentum, with Rishabh Pant and Nicholas Pooran failing to contribute.
In response, Bengaluru’s chase was built on a solid platform laid by Virat Kohli, who scored a fluent 49. Quick contributions from Rajat Patidar and Jitesh Sharma shifted the momentum decisively.
Although Prince Yadav impressed with three wickets and Avesh Khan picked up two, the target proved far too small to defend. Also, RCB's aggressive approach in the powerplay, where they scored 60 runs, effectively sealed the game early.
