Without a doubt, cricket is experiencing a global youth revolution. T20 leagues like the Indian Premier League are accelerating this shift by providing teenagers with a platform to run alongside seasoned veterans.
And at the centre of it is the Indian cricket prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. Courtesy of his IPL 2026 rampage, the fifteen-year-old earned a national call-up for India’s upcoming Ireland and England T20I tours and is only a step away from making his India debut.
After becoming the youngest player to secure an IPL contract (with the Rajasthan Royals), he went on to score a spectacular century in just 35 balls. He further cemented his status as a generational talent by hammering the highest score in a U-19 World Cup final (175 runs) and is rewriting international youth ODI records.
Apart from him, over the years, other teenagers have also made a name for themselves after shattering the record books. That being said, in this article, let’s take a look at the list of the youngest players to score a 50 in T20Is.
