The Pakistan Super League is one of the most prestigious Pakistan domestic tournaments in the country, and since its inauguration, several fireworks with the bat have graced the tournament.

However, a recent clash of Hyderabad Kingsmen vs Islamabad United saw PSL 2026 etch a shameful record after many years. The HYK vs ISL match played on April 24, 2026, saw Kingsmen record a very low total on the board that shamed the current standards of T20 batting.

However, it was not the first time that this lowest-ever total in PSL 2026 was recorded. So, let’s take a look at the list of shameful low totals ever bagged by teams in the Pakistan Super League.

5) Hyderabad Kingsmen- 80 (vs Islamabad United)

In the Hyderabad Kingsmen vs Islamabad United clash, the former recorded a shameful innings for themselves as they were bundled out inside 15.5 overs for just 80 runs.

Courtesy of Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan, and Richard Gleeson, all of whom took three wickets, Hyderabad Kingsmen faltered symbolically to post only a paltry score at Karachi on April 24 during the PSL 2026.

Opener Maaz Sadaqat was dismissed for a golden duck, while skipper Marnus Labuschagne also had to walk off early. Usman Khan stayed unbeaten with a top score of just 25 runs off 35 deliveries as the middle and lower middle order crumbled like a house of cards in front of Islamabad United's bowling attack.

4) Lahore Qalanadars- 78 (vs Peshawar Zalmi)

On February 17, 2019, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Lahore Qalandars fell prey to Peshawar Zalmi's spicy bowling attack featuring Hasan Ali and Wahab Riaz's destruction.

The Qalandars were dismissed for just 78 runs inside 15.1 overs as Hasan Ali took four wickets from his four overs while giving away only 15 runs, while Wahab Riaz took three wickets, with Ibtisam Sheikh and Kieron Pollard taking two and one wicket respectively.

All of this destruction caused Qalandars' top order, featuring Fakhar Zaman and Sohail Akhtar, to crumble early. The middle order offered no resistance at all, with only Anton Devcich getting the highest of the lot with his 18-run knock.

3) Lahore Qalanadars- 76 (vs Multan Sultans)

It was yet Lahore Qalandars again who scored a paltry 76 runs while chasing Multan Sultans' target of 161 back on March 15, 2023, at Lahore.

After the Sultans posted a decent total on the back of Kieron Pollard and Mohammad Rizwan's knocks, Qalandars faltered from the very beginning. The openers were sent back early, with Abdullah Shafiq gone for a duck.

The middle and lower middle order, consisting of Sikandar Raza and Hussain Talat, made single-digit scores as Sheldon Cottrell was the pick of the bowlers for Multan Sultans with his 3-wicket haul.

Besides Cottrell, Abbas Afridi, Kieron Pollard, and Ihsanullah also contributed, with Usama Mir taking two wickets at home.

2) Quetta Gladiators- 73 (vs Multan Sultans)

The Multan Sultans were once again champions in defending a target of 184 runs in front of Quetta Gladiators, this time in the PSL 2021 on June 16, at Abu Dhabi.

Gladiators failed to chase the total put up by Multan Sultans. Shan Masood and Johnson Charles starred to put up the mammoth total on the board. However, with pressure mounting, the Sarfaraz Ahmed-led team was bundled out inside 12.1 overs while scoring only 73 runs.

Imran Tahir was the pick of the bowlers with his three-wicket haul, while Imran Khan scalped two alongside Shahnawaz Dahani, Sohail Tanveer, and Blessing Muzarabani, picking one each.

1) Lahore Qalanadars- 59 (vs Peshawar Zalmi)

The lowest total ever recorded in the Pakistan Super League is again from the Lahore Qalandars team, where they were bowled out for just 59 runs inside 10.2 overs against Peshawar Zalmi at Dubai.

Back on February 12, 2017, Qalandars, led by Brendon McCullum, came in to bat first as Hasan Ali became the nightmare, picking off opener Jason Roy and middle-order anchor Umar Akmal early in the game.

Brendon McCullum too faltered and went back for a duck, caught off Mohammad Asghar. It was only Fakhar Zaman who put up a 19-ball 33 to add to the 59-run total.

Hasan Ali's three-wicket haul, alongside Chris Jordan's two-fer and other contributions from Shahid Afridi, Wahab Riaz, and Mohammad Hafeez, allowed an easy win for Peshawar Zalmi and resulted in a shameful record for Lahore Qalandars at just 59.
