Known for his majestic boundaries along the ground, Kohli, who smacked his first boundary of the game against Rabada, became the first player in the IPL to smash 800 fours in the tournament.
So far, he has hammered 801 fours in the IPL, with the next best being his former Indian teammate, Shikhar Dhawan, who had scored 768 boundaries in IPL history.

Currently, Abhishek Sharma, the SRH opener, tops the Orange Cap charts with 323 runs, with a strike rate of 215. His teammate, Heinrich Klaasen occupies the second spot, followed by Shubman Gill, and Virat Kohli.
The RCB opener has been in superb form in the IPL 2026, and with a superb fifty against the Titans in the RCB Vs GT match, the right-handed batter has gone past Sanju Samson to place himself at the fourth position.
He has the chance to take the Orange Cap in the ongoing clash as the batter is just a few runs away from eclipsing Abhishek Sharma.
