In IPL 2026, for the first time in the 19 seasons of the league, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will head into the tournament as the defending champions. They will also have an opportunity to become only the third team to win two consecutive titles after the Chennai Super Kings and the Mumbai Indians.

After their home stadium was suspended from hosting any matches post the unfortunate incident in the aftermath of their maiden title win, the venue is now cleared to do so from IPL 2026 onwards.

Cricket will return to the Chinnaswamy Stadium right from Day 1 of the IPL 2026, as the Royal Challengers Bengaluru play the Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 28. In the first phase of the tournament, they will also play Chennai Super Kings on April 5.

Apart from the venue in Bengaluru, they will also play five of their home fixtures at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur, in IPL 2026.

As they start IPL 2026 as the title contenders yet again, we take a look at all their records at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium and the Raipur Stadium in their IPL history.

RCB’s IPL win record at M Chinnaswamy Stadium

So far, the Royal Challengers haven’t been able to turn the Chinnaswamy Stadium into a fortress, with more losses than wins at home ahead of IPL 2026. They have tied one match at the venue in 2013 before clinching it in the Super Over against the Delhi Daredevils.
