The host began by asking Reddy to choose between Tests and T20Is. Much to everyone’s surprise, the 22-year-old picked T20Is as his preferred format. His captain and SRH teammate Ishan Kishan quickly chimed in, jokingly reminding Reddy that he is part of India’s Test side and that the selectors might be listening to his answers. However, the 22-year-old has not featured in a T20I for the national side since January last year, during India’s home series against England. To date, Nitish Kumar Reddy has played 10 Tests, four ODIs, and four T20Is since making his international debut in October 2024.
