Gujarat Titans (GT) produced a complete all-round performance to crush Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 77 runs in Match 52 of the ongoing IPL 2026 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Saturday. The huge win helped GT register the biggest victory by runs in their IPL history and kept them firmly in the race for a top-two finish on the points table.
After being asked to bat first, Gujarat Titans delivered a batting masterclass and posted a massive 229/4 in 20 overs. In reply, RR were bundled out for just 152 in 16.3 overs as Rashid Khan and Jason Holder ripped through the batting lineup.
The victory was also GT's fourth consecutive win this season and gave their net run rate a major boost (+0.228).
Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan lead GT's batting charge
Gujarat Titans openers Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan completely dominated the Rajasthan bowling attack from the beginning. The pair added 118 runs for the first wicket in just 11.2 overs and laid the foundation for a huge total.

Shubman Gill looked in complete control during his brilliant knock of 84 runs from just 44 balls. Sudharsan supported him perfectly with a fluent 55 off 36 balls.
Rajasthan’s bowlers struggled badly on a batting-friendly pitch. Even experienced pacer Jofra Archer had an off day as GT batters attacked freely throughout the innings.
In the final overs, Washington Sundar played an important unbeaten cameo of 37 from 20 balls. For Rajasthan Royals, Brijesh Sharma was the only bowler to make some impact, finishing with figures of 2/47.
Rashid Khan turns the match completely in GT's favour
Chasing 230, Rajasthan Royals started fearlessly with Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, scoring 36 off just 16 balls, while Dhruv Jurel scored a quick 24 from only 10 balls.
However, the match changed completely once Rashid Khan came into the attack. The Afghan spinner returned to his best form and picked up four wickets for 33 runs.
Jason Holder then cleaned up the lower order with outstanding figures of 3/12 in 2.3 overs. Kagiso Rabada chipped in with two wickets, while Mohammed Siraj took one.
RR eventually collapsed from a strong position and was bowled out for 152.
