CSK fans poke fun at Dwayne Bravo [Source: @ChennaiIPL/x]
Dwayne Bravo is set to continue as team mentor for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the upcoming IPL 2026 season. The former West Indies all-rounder was appointed to the high-profile role in September 2024, replacing outgoing mentor Gautam Gambhir ahead of the 2025 edition of the tournament.
Despite switching allegiance to KKR, Bravo still seemingly bleeds yellow, as he recently took time out of his hectic schedule to join his former franchise, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
Fans have their say as KKR’s Dwayne Bravo joins CSK
Dwayne Bravo was among the many former CSK cricketers who attended the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday, March 22. His presence alongside his ex-CSK colleagues as well as active members did not go unnoticed, with several fans quickly taking to social media at poke fun at the all-rounder owing to his newfound association with the KKR.

Many fans even jokingly labelled him as either a “Dhurandhar of CSK” or an “undercover agent of CSK”, who is ‘seemingly’ working for the KKR but is still loyal to the ‘Yellow Brigade’. Notably, the “Dhurandhar” joke itself is a reference to the popular Bollywood action spy film of the same name with a similar premise, albeit on a geopolitical scale.
Here is a look at some of the best fan reactions over Dwayne Bravo’s recent CSK visit.
