Quetta Gladiators will face Multan Sultans next in the 13th fixture of PSL 2026. The clash will be held at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Sunday, April 5, at 7:30 PM IST.
Both Sultans and Gladiators lost their last games and will be eyeing gaining the winning momentum back as soon as possible.
Multan Sultans vs Quetta Gladiators Match Preview
Led by Saud Shakeel, Quetta Gladiators have had a mixed start to their campaign, registering one win and two losses.
After bouncing back strongly against Hyderabad Kingsmen, they were comprehensively beaten by Islamabad United, who chased down a 184-run target with ease, exposing Quetta’s struggles in defending totals.
On the other hand, Multan Sultans, captained by Ashton Turner, have shown greater consistency despite a recent setback.
They began their season with two impressive chases against Islamabad United and Hyderabad Kingsmen before suffering a narrow defeat to Lahore Qalandars in a rain-curtailed encounter.
With a more settled lineup and proven chasing ability, Multan will enter the contest with a slight edge, while Quetta will need a complete performance, especially with the ball, to challenge one of the more in-form sides of the season.

Multan Sultans Playing XI vs Quetta Gladiators - PSL 2026 Match 13
Top Order - Sahibzada Farhan, Steve Smith, Josh Phillipe
This PSL 2026 season, Sahibzada Farhan has shown solid good form, scoring 132 runs in 3 games at a 66.00 average. While Australian legend Steve Smith is yet to pace up, Farhan is carrying the opening pair pretty well.
At no. 3, wicket-keeper Josh Phillipe had a tough outing in the previous game as he got dismissed on just 1 run. Regardless, due to a lack of better options, Phillipe will retain his spot at no. 3.
Middle Order - Shan Masood, Ashton Turner, Arafat Minhas, Mohammad Nawaz
Shan Masood finally lived up to the hype in the last game as he scored 44 off just 18 balls to keep Multan Sultans in the hunt.
Ashton Turner, the skipper, also played a brilliant knock of 52 off 22 balls to support Masood. Hence, this middle-order stack is unlikely to be changed in this upcoming game.
After Turner, Arafat Minhas will bat at no. 6. He scored 25 off 11 balls against Lahore, and the youngster is slowly getting used to the PSL atmosphere.
Mohammad Nawaz will be Multan Sultans’ finisher in this lineup. He has good experience and adds depth as an all-rounder.
Bowlers - Peter Siddle, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Muhammad Ismail, Faisal Akram
Peter Siddle and Mohammad Wasim Jr will continue leading the Multan Sultans’ pace attack. Both bowlers have been economical but need wickets to help the Sultans gain an advantage.
Muhammad Ismail and Faisal Akram were included in the last game, and both bowled well. While Ismail picked 2 wickets, Akram settled for one wicket of Mohammad Nadeem. Since neither of them has underperformed, they are likely to be backed for this game as well.
Overall, Multan Sultans have a quality lineup and are unlikely to make any changes to the playing XI for the upcoming clash against Quetta Gladiators.
