Match 67 of the IPL 2026 will feature the Sunrisers Hyderabad up against the visiting Royal Challengers Bengaluru in a riveting contest that could decide the top two teams in the playoffs. RCB is currently top of the table, and even a loss wouldn’t hamper their place, unless the side loses by a huge margin.
While RCB has 18 points in their bag, SRH are not too far behind with 16, and the Orange Army will aim to push for a top spot, as the top two sides get an extra game to qualify for the finals (if they lose Qualifier 1).
SRH have blown hot and cold throughout the tournament, but in their last game against CSK, the Pat Cummins-led team showed their batting strength and snatched the game away from home to book their playoff berth.
The SRH Vs RCB IPL 2026 match holds utmost importance for Cummins’ team, and here is Sunrisers Hyderabad’s strongest XI for the RCB clash.
SRH likely playing XI Vs RCB- Match 67
Openers and top order: Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan(w)
One of the most destructive top order in the IPL 2026 season, Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, and Ishan Kishan, the dangerous trio, will aim to trouble the RCB bowlers early in the innings. Abhishek and Head failed against RCB in the last match, but in home conditions, the duo becomes dangerous.
Then comes Ishan Kishan at number 3. The match-winner for SRH in the last IPL match vs CSK, Kishan has been SRH’s most consistent batters alongside Heinrich Klaasen, and he’ll hope to toy with the RCB bowling attack.
Middle order and all-rounders: Heinrich Klaasen, Salil Arora, Nitish Kumar Reddy
Klaasen came into the IPL 2026 with little to no match practice, but the SRH middle-order batter has taken the league by storm with his numerous match-winning knocks, and once again, the Orange Army would hope that the South African great could take down the opponent with his attacking batting.
The SRH middle-order also boasts two aggressive batters in Nitish Kumar Reddy, who has revived his IPL career in 2026, and apart from his batting, the all-rounder can also chip in with his medium pace bowling. Then there is the ultra-aggressive Salil Arora, who can play the role of a finisher, alongside Aniket Verma, who can come in as an impact sub.

Bowlers: Pat Cummins(c), Shivang Kumar, Eshan Malinga, Harsh Dubey, Praful Hinge
The arrival of Pat Cummins has bolstered SRH’s bowling lineup, and the skipper of the side has been SRH’s best bowler since his return to the IPL. He’ll obviously hold the key as the hosts will try and get the early RCB wickets.
Harsh Dubey could be included in the lineup in place of Sakib Hussain. RCB has Virat Kohli at the top, and he plays fast bowlers well. Instead, the SRH franchise could try and dismiss him with the left-arm spin-bowling of Harsh Dubey, the all-rounder who was recently drafted into the Indian Test side.
Kohli struggles against left-arm spin bowlers, and Cummins could use his trump card (Dubey) against him.
Eshan Malinga, and Praful Hinge will be the other two bowlers as the hosts have all the tools to upset the RCB rhythm.
