Pakistan veteran Shadab Khan, the Islamabad United skipper for Pakistan Super League 2026, have been ruled out of the April 12 match for the Islamabad United vs Hyderabad Kingsmen PSL 2026 clash.

During the toss of the Islamabad United vs Hyderabad Kingsmen, Khan's replacement was announced as Mehran Mumtaz by stand-in skipper Chris Green, who is also set to make his debut for his team on April 12.
“Unfortunately, he is not feeling good today. We have got a long break before the next game and a long one after that too. It is precautionary. So, I have got big shoes to fill,” Green said during the toss.
Shadab's prosperous PSL 2026 outings
The nifty all-rounder, Shadab Khan, who bowls right-arm leg spin, has played only a few matches in the Pakistan Super League, featuring in three of them and grabbing seven wickets from four innings at an economy rate of 6.93.
