Shubman Gill joined multiple IPL legends on Sunday during Gujarat Titans match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Ekana Cricket Stadium. However, the major talking point of the record he breached was that he was among the top five on that list, which does not include IPL’s arguably all-time best, Virat Kohli.
Irrespective of all IPL batting records, Virat Kohli found himself at the top due to his impeccable consistency over the years in the competition. However, Shubman Gill, mathematically, did better than him to a certain extent, and so did KL Rahul, Jos Buttler, David Warner, Chris Gayle and Faf du Plessis.
