A recent Instagram reel has gone viral after it showed the new Impact Meter introduced by the JioStar and Star Sports in the T20 World Cup 2026, suggesting that Glenn Phillips and Tilak Varma have more power and innovation than David Miller.

Notably, a comment from David Miller has gone even more viral, with him posting a sarcastic remark under the reel that now has netizens talking. The impact meter analyses a player's impact on the field based on three criteria: 'innovation', 'control', and 'power'.

The scale ranges from 1 to 100 for each of these criteria, and depending on a player's track record with the bat, analysts rate the batter's skill. However, it seems like Miller was unhappy with the analysis.

What Comment Did David Miller Make On The Instagram Reel?

In this generation of AI, image, and account manipulation, keeping track of authenticity is a very hard task, and many suspected that Miller's comment on the viral reel has also been a victim of that threat. Let's understand what the reel was about and what Miller's comment on it actually meant.

The reel showed a montage of the Impact Meters of three players, India's Tilak Varma, New Zealand's Glenn Phillips, and Miller. As per the montage, Miller had an innovation score lower than Tilak Varma and Glenn Phillips, which read 89 and 64, respectively.

The power meter showed 92 for Glenn Phillips and 97 for Tilak Varma, which was actually a lot higher than in the case of David Miller. This may trigger fans to think of the 'OG clutch player' of South Africa as the comparison appears unfair.
