The most recent edition of The Hundred Women saw Trent Rockets win the title for the first time by defeating Sunrisers Leeds by eight wickets in the final at Lord's on August 16, 2026.
Over the years, The Hundred Women’s tournament has been a great platform for female cricketers to showcase their talent in a unique format. The first edition of the tournament was held in 2021, at a time when the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) was the only franchise-based competition for female cricketers.
Notably, almost all the men’s and women’s Hundred tournament matches, including the final, take place as back-to-back double-headers at the same venue on the same day.
Oval Invincibles won the maiden edition of the tournament, beating Southern Brave in a one-sided final by 48 runs. The following season, these two teams collided once again in the final. Once again, the Invincibles got the better of Southern Brave, this time by five wickets.
That being said, in this article, take a look at The Hundred Women's winners over the years, 2021 to 2026.
The Hundred Women’s 2021 Winner- Oval Invincibles
Marizanne Kapp's stunning all-round show, a vital 26 off 14 with the bat followed by a game-changing 4 for 9 with the ball, helped Oval Invincibles (renamed MI London) pip league toppers Southern Brave by 48 runs to clinch the inaugural Women's Hundred trophy at Lord's on August 21, 2021.
Brave, the tournament favourites, put Invincibles in to bat first and managed to keep a lid on their scoring for a better part of the innings. However, Dan van Niekerk and Fran Wilson’s 56-run partnership helped the Invincibles catch up, but Brave were still very much in control.
Then, South African all-rounder Marizanne Kapp hit four boundaries to help Invincibles finish with 121. They had ample belief that the score could be defended, having pulled off something quite similar in the Eliminator.

And once again, it was Kapp leading by example. She blew away the Brave’s top-order, as they slipped to 2 for 3 in six deliveries.
Fittingly, it was Kapp who pulled the plug on Brave’s spectacular season as she knocked over the last wicket to complete a sensational 48-run title-winning victory.
The Hundred Women’s 2022 Winner- Oval Invincibles
On September 3, 2022, in front of a record crowd for a domestic women’s game in the UK, Oval Invincibles defended their title with a five-wicket win over Southern Brave in the final of The Women’s Hundred.
In yet another low-scoring affair, once again, it was Marizanne Kapp doing the challenging job all alone. The veteran South African’s old calm head helped Invincibles chase a target of 102 with six balls to spare.
Kapp hit 37* off 33, striking five boundaries to help her side recover from an early wobble at Lord’s.
Moreover, Shabnim Ismail impressed with the ball, picking two wickets while conceding only 12 runs in 20 deliveries. Alice Capsey, who chipped in with 25 off 17 later in the chase, picked 2-25 as the bowling set up another Invincibles win in the match that mattered the most this season.
The Hundred Women’s 2023 Winner- Southern Brave
In the final of the third edition of The Hundred Women’s tournament, Anya Shrubsole signed off from professional cricket by lifting the trophy at Lord’s. She captained Southern Brave to their first title on August 27, 2023.
After successive defeats to Oval Invincibles in the 2021 and 2022 finals, they comprehensively outplayed Northern Superchargers in front of a record 21,636 crowd.
With Smriti Mandhana and Maia Bouchier falling cheaply, they recovered decently after an early slump. Thanks to Danny Wyatt’s 59 off 38 and Freya Kemp’s invaluable 31 off 17, they set a target of 140.
Lastly, Lauren Bell and Chloe Moore picked up three wickets each to help Invincibles secure their maiden Hundred title.
The Hundred Women’s 2024 Winner- London Spirit
Deepti Sharma’s six under pressure with three balls to spare helped London Spirit clinch the title against Welsh Fire.
Set 116 to win, it came down to four needed from the last three balls before Deepti Sharma lofted Hayley Matthews over long-on for six. It could all have been so different, though, as the ball burst through the hands of Fire bowler Shabmin Ismain and over the rope.
However, there was just too much on Deepti’s decisive strike as Spirit claimed the trophy on their home ground.
The Hundred Women’s 2025 Winner- Northern Superchargers
Northern Superchargers (renamed Sunrisers Leeds) brought curtains on Southern Brave’s near-perfect run with a crushing 7-wicket win in a rain-affected final at Lord’s.
Notably, Annabel Sutherland's all-round show, Nicola Carey's unbeaten 35 and Kate Cross's early strikes all combined to give Northern Superchargers their maiden The Hundred title.
The Hundred Women’s 2026 Winner- Trent Rockets
On August 16, 2026, Trent Rockets cruised to an emphatic eight-wicket win in The Women’s Hundred 2026 final at Lord’s.
In a disappointingly one-sided contest, Sunrisers Leeds (formerly Northern Superchargers) were bowled out for just 91 runs. Rockets reached their modest target with 46 balls to spare to secure their women’s title.
England’s Sophia Dunkley smashed 41 off 23 balls as she continued her excellent form, and Australian Beth Mooney struck 31 not out off 21.
