In the ongoing Under-19 ODI Asia Cup match between India and Pakistan, 19-year-old Arjun Rajput has played one of the finest and best knocks of his career. The youngster, under pressure, slammed an 80-ball century to help pull India out of a slump.
Notably, the Boys in Blue were reduced to 42/4 and on a surface where the batters struggled, Arjun Rajput showed class and slammed 11 fours and five sixes to bring up his century.
Arjun Rajput Brings Up Maiden Youth ODI Century In Style
As mentioned above, Arjun Rajput played one of the best counter-attacking innings and slammed an 80-ball century. The left-handed batter brought up his maiden youth ODI century and celebrated in style with a fist in the air and a big jump to celebrate the special moment.

Overall, he scored 695 Runs in the tournament and picked up 11 Wickets. Notably, the 19-year-old has often been compared with Yuvraj Singh because of his left-handed batting and bowling abilities.
His great performance in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy helped him earn a selection in Punjab T20 2026, where he smoothly transitioned to the shortest format of the game. The 19-year-old scored 288 runs in 7 innings, averaging 57.60 with the bat. He slammed 2 fifty-plus scores in that tournament.
The timing cannot be great for Arjun to score runs because it will help him earn a IPL contract since the auction is likely to be held on December 16 in Goa.
