Sanju Samson Falls Shortly After Historic Milestone
Despite the milestone, Sanju Samson had a forgetful match as the right-handed batter scored just 11 (15), which featured a couple of fours. Notably, it is a difficult Chepauk pitch to bat on. The ball is swinging and bouncing, forcing the batters to be at their best to score runs.
Sanju Samson struggled through-out his innings and failed to read the pitch. Pressure was rising for him to score runs quickly and he fell into Kagiso Rabada's trap. Further, Chennai Super Kings are in deep trouble as they have already lost 30 runs for three wickets on the board.
Sanju Samson's IPL 2026 So Far
Today, Sanju Samson had a great chance to go for IPL 2026 orange cap. Overall, the right-handed batter has had a great season. The CSK opener has 304 runs in 8 innings, averaging 50.87.
Sanju Samson has already scored a couple of hundreds but the issue for him is that he is either scoring big hundreds or single-digit scores, which is a concerning sign for Chennai Super Kings.
