On Saturday, Rajasthan Royals locked horns against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. The two teams are placed in the top-four and the winner will further strengthen their position in IPL 2026.
For Sunrisers Hyderabad, Pat Cummins returned for his first match of IPL 2026 and is leading the team.
Talking about the toss, two captains - Riyan Parag and Pat Cummins walked down the track for the coin flip. The luck favoured the visitors for the first time in this edition. SRH won the toss and opted to field first.
Talking about team changes - SRH have made a couple of changes, Pat Cummins come in for I come in for Dilshan Madushanka, and Praful Hinge comes in for Harsh Dubey. For Rajasthan Royals, they have made a solitary change.

Riyan Parag (Rajasthan Royals Captain): "[Thoughts on Pat Cummins' decision to bowl first] We were looking to do the same as well. But having said that, the last couple of seasons, we haven't done well chasing, I am happy to defend as well.
[Thoughts on being back in Jaipur] Feels great, I think we played most of our cricket here. We know this wicket well, it seems like a pretty good wicket. Maybe a little dew coming in later on but won't really play that much of a role.
Pat Cummins (Sunrisers Hyderabad Captain): (On the toss and bowling first) We’re going to bowl first. The wicket looks good, but we’d like to see what target we need to chase.

(On returning after several months without a formal game since last December) I feel fresh. It’s been a little while, but I’ve had really good preparation and a couple of bowling sessions here. I haven’t played a game for a while, so we’ll see how it goes, but the body feels awesome.
