Rajasthan Royals have dealt a heavy blow as Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has walked off the field due to injury. Notably, the 15-year-old picked up a cramp while fielding against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The incident occurred before the start of the 4th over when the physios attended the youngster and asked him to walk off the field to avoid further damage.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Gets Injured After Ton
Sooryavanshi lied on the ground in pain, holding his hamstring. The physio checked him and the 15-year-old limped his way off the field. It is worrying signs for Rajasthan Royals as they don't want their star player to be out of action specially at this stage of the tournament.
The initial thoughts are that its just a cramp, but the fans worry a hamstring tear, which can rule the southpaw out of the playing XI for a long time. Notably, Sooryavanshi batted for long today as he slammed a 36-ball hundred, his second in the tournament.

Shedding light on his IPL 2026 stats, he has already scored 357 runs in 8 innings, leading the orange-cap chart. Further, he broke a plethora of records with his brilliant innings.
Therefore, it is expected that the 15-year-old felt the impact of his innings during field and pulled his hamstring due to exertion.
