The former Pakistan skipper and star batter, Babar Azam, appeared clueless as coach Mike Hesson and captain Salman Ali Agha fought in front of him. The unpleasant scene unfolded during Pakistan’s last group-stage game against Namibia in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2026.
It all started during the over break after Pakistan scored 121 runs for the loss of three wickets in 14 overs. Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha was seen in a strong disagreement with coach Mike Hesson, throwing a water bottle in frustration.

Though the reason behind this heated conversation between coach and captain is not clear so far, it has clearly exposed the internal disputes and disagreements in the Pakistan’s dressing room.
Speaking of Babar Azam, his batting position was also demoted during the game against Namibia as he didn’t get a chance to bat anywhere in the top and middle order till number five.
The young batter Khawaja Nafay was promoted over Babar Azam at number four before Shadab Khan came to bat at number five. Babar has been through a ‘below par’ run of form in the tournament’s current edition.

Speaking of the action of the game between Pakistan and Namibia in the ongoing 35th match of the T20 World Cup 2026, the Men in Green batted first after winning the toss.
The opening pair of Saim Ayub (14) and Sahibzada Farhan provided a steady start of 40 runs in 5.1 overs before the former fell prey to Jack Brassell. Following Saim Ayub’s dismissal, Farhan and skipper Salman Ali Agha (38) stitched a crucial 67-run partnership for the second wicket.
Farhan started accelerating the scoring rate after completing his half-century. The young batter Khawaja Nafay fell early at the individual score of just five runs off five balls, with a boundary. Later in the innings, all-rounder Shadab Khan joined Farhan to make an unbeaten stand of 81 runs for the fourth wicket.
Sahibzada Farhan completed his well-deserved ton in the last over and went unbeaten at an individual score of 100 runs off just 58 balls, hitting 11 fours and four sixes. Shadab also went unbeaten, scoring 36 runs off 22 balls, with one four and three sixes.
On the back of Farhan’s century, alongside the contributions of Salman Ali Agha and Shadabh Khan, Pakistan posted 199 runs for the loss of three wickets in 20 overs. For Namibia, Jack Brassell bagged two wickets, alongside a wicket picked by captain Gerhard Erasmus.
At the time of writing this, Namibia have scored 10 runs without losing any wickets in 1.5 overs while chasing the 200-run target. Openers, Louren Steenkamp and Jan Frylink, are there in the middle with individual scores of six and two runs, respectively.
