BCCI punishes Riyan Parag for vaping episode in IPL 2026 The BCCI has punished Rajasthan Royals skipper Riyan Parag after the latter was spotted vaping inside the dressing room earlier this week during the IPL 2026 season. Riyan was found to have breached Article 2.21 of the IPL Code of Conduct, which pertains to a “conduct that brings the game into disrepute.” The cricketer, refusing to file any formal appeal, will have to pay a fine of 25 percent of his match fees for his misconduct. Kumar Sangakkara joins Sri Lanka Cricket Former Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara has been appointed as one of the nine members in the new Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) committee.
