Sanju Samson rested, India name squad for ZIM series
The BCCI has named a strong 15-player Team India squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series in Zimbabwe. Sanju Samson and fast bowler Arshdeep Singh were among the two senior pros rested from the national squad, while Rinku Singh made his return to the team.

Shreyas Iyer and Tilak Varma will continue to serve as India’s captain and vice-captain for the series. Yash Thakur and Ashok Sharma, meanwhile, received their maiden international call-ups.
England name unchanged playing XI for third T20I vs India
The ECB has named an unchanged playing XI for the England team for the upcoming third T20I of the five-match series against India at Trent Bridge in Nottingham on Tuesday, July 7. Harry Brook will continue to lead the England national side, and the team also features several seasoned pros like Jofra Archer, Jos Buttler, Adil Rashid, Sam Curran among others.
Nahid Rana scripts huge record for Bangladesh
Bangladesh fast bowler Nahid Rana bulldozed Zimbabwe’s batting line-up with a stunning six-wicket haul in the first ODI of the series in Harare. The speedster conceded just 21 runs from his 10 overs as Bangladesh bundled out Zimbabwe for just 141 in 36.4 overs.
Rana’s spell marked the best-ever bowling figures ever recorded by any Bangladesh cricketer in ODI history. Unfortunately, Bangladesh still lost the match by 25 runs to go 0-1 down in the series.
Shivam Dube replaces Nitish Kumar Reddy for England ODIs
Nitish Reddy has been officially excluded from Team India squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series in England next week. The cricketer sustained a quadriceps injury during the ODI series against Afghanistan last month, and he has since been in rehabilitation.
The BCCI has now named fellow all-rounder Shivam Dube as Reddy’s official replacement for the series against England.
Dasun Shanaka stuns TSK with double hat-trick in MLC 2026
Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka picked up four wickets in four balls to claim a rare double hat-trick, doing so for the Seattle Orcas franchise in match number 21 of the MLC 2026 season in Pomona.
Bowling the last over of the game and defending 10 runs off the final four balls, Shanaka dismissed Donovan Ferreira, Calvin Savage, Adam Milne and Amshi de Silva in succession to snare figures of 4-26, as the Orcas secured a thrilling nine-run win.
