Rohit Sharma once again missed being a part of Mumbai Indians playing XI, this time against the SRH in match 41 of the IPL 2026 season. The legendary opener has now missed four matches in a row since sustaining a hamstring injury against the RCB earlier this month.

Captain Hardik Pandya has now confirmed that Sharma might miss a couple of more matches this tournament, thus implying that he is still in his recovery phase.

Nahid Rana granted NOC for Peshawar Zalmi in PSL 2026

Bangladesh fast bowler Nahid Rana is all set to rejoin the Peshawar Zalmi franchise ahead of the upcoming PSL 2026 final match. The speedster has now received an NOC from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) after he played their home ODI series against New Zealand midway into the Pakistani tournament.

Rana has played four PSL 2026 matches for the Zalmi franchise, picking up seven wickets at an average of 10.85.

Zimbabwe Women squad named for historic Pakistan tour

Zimbabwe Cricket has named a 15-member Zimbabwe Women’s squad for the upcoming historic white-ball tour of Pakistan. Nomvelo Sibanda will lead the group in both, the T20I and the ODI series.

The two teams are scheduled to face each other in three ODIs and three T20I matches between May 3 and May 15. All six matches will be hosted by the National Stadium in Karachi.

New Zealand name squad for 2026 Women’s World Cup

New Zealand Cricket has officially unveiled its 15-player squad for the upcoming 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in England. Young all-rounder Amelia Kerr will continue to lead the defending champions, and she will be accompanied by some of the biggest names of the game in the form of Sophie Devine and Suzie Bates.

Notably, senior pros like Devine, Bates and Lea Tahuhu will be concluding their international careers after the tournament.

Ryan Rickelton blasts fastest Mumbai Indians century

Mumbai Indians opener Ryan Rickelton hammered 123* runs off just 55 balls against the SRH in match 41 of the IPL 2026 season with 10 boundaries and eight sixes. The attacking top-order batter raced to his hundred from just 44 balls, thus recording the fastest century by any player in the history of the franchise.

The innings also marked the highest individual score by any Mumbai Indians batter in IPL matches as the franchise mounted 243-5 in 20 overs.
