Rohit Sharma recovery update given by Mumbai Indians

The Mumbai Indians franchise has dropped an official update regarding the recovery of legendary opener Rohit Sharma. A day before the team’s all-important match against the SRH, Mumbai Indians media manager said that Rohit is still recovering from his hamstring injury, and any call about his participation will be taken before the toss.

It is worth noting that Sharma has missed a couple of Mumbai Indians matches this month owing to his injury.

Laura Wolvaardt rises, Mandhana drops in ICC T20I rankings

South Africa skipper Laura Wolvaardt gained a couple of rungs to climb to number three on the ICC T20I Women’s batting rankings. Under her leadership, the South Africa Women’s team also thrashed India by a 4-1 margin at home this month.

Indian opener Smriti Mandhana, meanwhile, slipped to number five on the latest batting charts.

England Women name squad for NZ, India series and T20 World Cup 2026

The ECB has unveiled the entire England Women’s squad for the upcoming home white-ball fixtures against New Zealand and India. The board also named England’s 15-player squad for the upcoming 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup at home.

Nat Sciver-Brunt will continue to serve her national side as captain. As per the schedule, England’s ODI and T20I series against New Zealand, as well as the T20Is against India will be played in May, and it will be followed by the multi-nation event in June.

Babar Azam century storms Peshawar Zalmi into PSL 2026 final

Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam charted the fourth century of his PSL career, and the second of the ongoing 2026 season. The cricketer listed 103 runs off 59 balls with 12 boundaries and four sixes against the Islamabad United in the first qualifier of the tournament in Karachi.

Peshawar Zalmi also won the match by 70 runs to reach the final of the PSL 2026 season, set to be played on May 3 later this weekend in Lahore.

CPL 2026 schedule announced, new team in

Cricket West Indies (CWI) has unveiled the entire schedule of the upcoming CPL 2026 season. The 14th edition of the tournament, as many as seven teams will be taking part this year, with Jamaica Kingsmen serving as the newest entrant.

As per the schedule, the CPL 2026 season will be played between August 7 and September 20, and it will be hosted by nine different venues. The final will be hosted by the Kensington Oval.
